Hearing the festival has been a bit of a disaster this year with the weather limiting crowds.

Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival
Where: Ship Point, Victoria Curling Club, and more
When: June 23-26
Tickets: $19.50-$49.50 from ticketweb.ca or Tourism Victoria Visitor Centre (812 Wharf St.); $149.50 for festival pass
The Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival is widely known for its international flavour, with past appearances by acts from as far away as Italy, New Zealand, Colombia, and South Korea.
But for the festival’s first in-person installment since 2019, the Canadian acts are the ones jumping off the page. Tickets to concerts featuring Tanika Charles, Bedouin Soundclash, Kobo Town, Five Alarm Funk, and The Gaff, among other Canadians, have been selling extremely well.

The longest-running ska and reggae festival in North America is expanding its footprint this summer as it looks to expand upon its record-setting 2025 edition.
The Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival returns June 24-28 at four venues, with headlining performances by Santa Barbara, Calif. skate punks Lagwagon, Oakland, Calif. hip-cop collective Souls of Mischief, and Toronto-bred reggae rockers Bedouin Soundclash. The 27th installment of the popular festival will also feature Jamaican dancehall singer Charly Black, New Zealand reggae-funk favourites The Black Seeds, Vancouver’s Five Alarm Funk, Seattle’s Clinton Fearon and the Boogie Brown Band, Mexican reggae act Antidoping, and Florida punk quartet Against All Authority, among others.
