Welcome to the forum! What is the estimated move-in date?

Apparently November 2011; however, construction seems to be going really slow so I wouldn't be surprised if it was more like mid 2012. I don't really care if it takes longer as I am currently living with my parents; therefore, more time to save and potentially not have a mortgage. Only had to put $9,900 down.

Ah, very good. Sounds like you are firmly in the driver's seat.

^ It is sure to be lauded from the hilltops by Council right after finish burying a truly good project two blocks west of this site.

This Saturday the units will be offered for sale, according to a note submitted by the marketing team at Siteline.

I think the Condo Group (aka 'Condo' Conroy et al.) are the realtors involved with this project.

Drilling & blasting will begin Thursday (August 26) and will continue over a 30-day period. I suppose the status can be changed to U/C (under construction)?

Oh Boy, Victoria’s favorite architectural design … a four story walk up … I think they should shave one floor off … I can’t see the other side of the building from the other side of the building …

You've come up with a koan for the Zen building!

btw, as a zen practitioner, I feel a bit miffed that the 'zen' name is being co-opted for this building. If you're going to call something 'zen', it should at least have some Japanese minimilist design to it.

The Zen offers a 5 stop elevator that goes to all floors including the roof garden.

It appears that this building will not provide on-site parking; however, bicycle storage is being provided on the first floor.

Prices aren't posted to the official site for the development (http://www.zenvictoria.com) but MLS indicates that the 23 suites are priced between $169,900 and $264,900.

Speaking of murals, graffiti artists have hit the massive west-facing blank wall.

You know, I don't mind graffiti on otherwise drab and dominating walls in an urban setting.

I was thinking the exact same thing the other day, as I was going up Fort St and looking at that tagged wall. If the owners designated it as a graffiti wall and got some good artists, it could be like Wildfire Bakery and look really cool. They might even ask for themes - like "urban zen" or something...

I am liking the way this building is turning out. Downtown could use about 15 - 20 more of them scattered about.

Visit my blog at: https://www.sidewalkingvictoria.com

It has a whole new look!
