I am shocked that there isn't a huge amount of people that want to go to Douglas Centre for a dining experience.

I really do despise the format of that particular strip mall, but the parking lot is usually packed.

I wonder if the Colwood strip mall one is shut also.

Nope. They shut that one because the landlord jacked the rent on them. I understand there is a bank looking at the space.

I recently saw a newly opened Salty's at 1008 Craigflower Road (at the Craigflower & Tillicum intersection, located behind Fourways Furniture). It looks like the same sign they had on Douglas but I am not sure if ownership has changed.

That one has been there for a few years, at least.

Before you knock that mall for its dining experiences, try the Japanese restaurant on the upper level for their Bento lunch special. Best in town.

There is a Salty's restaurant going in at University Heights. :)
