I have! I must say I really enjoyed myself. My favourite was the top notch service and how accessible it is to go there for a pre-drink and then elsewhere.

The King's Deli on Fort is still closed. Unfortunately, it's also still fully stocked, including the glass front deli case, where you can see a wide variety of fine meats and cheeses in various states of decomposition.

But to make you feel better, I will mention it to his spouse so they can do something about it since they don't have enough on their plate right now.

^Maybe some friends could help them out and take care of it for them before it gets worse. I mean, wouldn't it be nice if this couple didn't have to come back to deli cases full of decomposed food once they've dealt with their more pressing issues?

I had a nice meeting today with the owners of The Latch in Sidney. Very neat place. Luigi, the owner, is from Italy, and spent many years with Princess Cruises, where he met his Romanian wife. Luigi also worked for Mike Murphy and Pierre from Deep Cove Chalet, before a chance meeting with Tidman Construction folks led to them buying the Latch.

Just about ready...and looks very nice inside, with some private eating areas.
Too late...they're gone, now we have this
