I remember it being a big deal when it opened, but at the same time, I don't really remember attending on opening night. But I don't remember what was there before either. I remember the opening of Legend's, that was a big deal, and I was there opening night.

A low, single story building with shop fronts that's what I remember.

The "Old Gold" shop was one of them and there was Victoria's first sex shop "Adam's Eve" ??? might be wrong on the name...

That's right too. One of the owners of that, now up Douglas across from the Rialto still works at Sticky Wicket as a waitress.

Don't they have to prove the server blatantly overserved an obvious drunk? Talented drinkers can be skilled at hiding their inebriation. They are also skilled at smuggling in outside mickeys so someone that only orders a beer or two, appearing perfectly normal, can stroll out calmly, stagger to their car and cause mayhem.

The main bar at the Sticky is under renovations, but the Clubhouse and Games Room remain open.

One beach volleyball court has been removed and extra seating added for this summer.  After this summer, they will do a big renovation up there where they will move the bar and the kitchen.

Lol.  I've seen the sales figures on a Sunday at this thing.  It's nothing to sneeze at.  Making someone lots of money.
