This isn’t exactly retail but Westland Insurance will be opening a location in the Vic West Plaza (home to Save on Foods)...

That’ll be two insurance offices at the complex. I imagine it’ll take over the Flight Centre space?

The old Flight Center space had a drywaller or painter working yesterday afternoon.

The other insurance company has been gone for about six months.

No kidding, I had not realized that.

I used to purchase my ICBC portion of case insurance there. They consolidated into another location.

My private insurer (belair direct) stopped offering car insurance this year.

With agency fees dwindling, ICBC starting online renewals, etc, in hindsight neither of these are surprises.
