Dean Fortin started a new position as Housing Development Consultant at Dean Fortin Strategies - no idea if he is still with Pacifica etc.

I wonder if he plans to battle it out with Ben for the federal NDP nomination when Murray Rankin resigns days after qualifying for his MP pension.

I might actively campaign for Ben if it gets him off of the CoV council and into a relatively harmless federal MP position.

Perhaps but why step down before you have won the seat? The Pacifica Housing website shows Dean as "Director of Development".

He was in that position for a short time after Margaret Eckenfelder replaced him as Executive Director but has since left Pacifica.

I have no idea so this is purely my opinion.

This looks a lot like investigation --> re-assignment, conclusion --> termination.

Fortin and Pacifica Housing have officially parted ways.

No word on the reason, other than that there is no further explanation as it is a personnel issue.

All CHEK had to do was read this forum and they could have run the article a month ago!
