A price plateau is looking more and more likely as median prices level out, and averages eke out some gains.

 

Marko believes if the interest rate environment has stabilized, and given the wage gains expected for unionized workers, the market is primed for a stronger start to 2023 than may have been expected mid-way through 2022.

still triple the listing of a year ago, so... if its slim pickings today, what do you call it last year?

652 vs 1975. In context of 'slim pickings' you're looking at active listings, not new ones.

At this time last year it was just under 900 listings.

The active listings figure for a full month is whatever it is at the end of the month, I think.

Same thing there though as you said above. That number increases as the month goes on
