Ismo: Can you provide some clarity when you say sports are no issue. Are you suggesting that biological males should be allowed to play on girl teams?
Oh I was responding to a comment about "What if people identify as a different race".. So for that there are less issues... I was going over the main issues that are affecting people. No I don't believe bio-males should play against females, but a male who identifies as Hispanic would still play against males, make sense? Same with bathrooms and changes rooms also an issue. A few private bathrooms would fix that in most schools.

Yep. As long as it goes had in hand with removal of allowing non-biologically male or females to enter the opposite gender bathroom. You won't find people saying private bathrooms are a bad idea. Often there are already private bathrooms, destined for disabled use; could expand the destination for those, if there is sufficient volume.

It would seem that many Canadians do not believe schools should be allowed to override parental consent when it comes to issues of minor children.

New data shows staggering numbers of girls and women had their breasts surgically removed in Canada since 2018.
The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) said 602 girls 18 years or younger, including 303 girls 17 years and under, have had bilateral mastectomies, or “female-to-male top surgery” across the country over the course of five years.
The youngest patient was 14 years old.
The cost of a mastectomy for a teen is funded in most provinces.

...In almost all Canadian provinces and territories, the determining factor in a child's ability to legally provide or refuse consent is whether their physical, mental, and emotional development allows for a full appreciation of the nature and consequences of the proposed treatment or lack of treatment...
Is this standard being met when non-medically necessary mastectomies are performed on minors?

An Abbotsford school board meeting was forced to end early Tuesday evening after hundreds of protestors showed up to oppose the teaching of sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) in schools.
Video posted to social media shows protestors confronting school board trustees, chanting “Leave our kids alone!”

One step closer to my high school dream of state-funded boob jobs for the real girls whose gender identity includes more voluptuousness, cuz they need physical alterations to satisfy their psychological desires too. Right..?

They penned themselves a little act to make it legal to do whatever they want with our kids…. In true Orwellian style they call it “Mature Minor Consent”. There is no age limit. Is this standard being met when non-medically necessary mastectomies are performed on minors?
“The Infants Act states that children may consent to a medical treatment on their own as long as the health care provider is sure that the treatment is in the child's best interest, and that the child understands the details of the treatment, including risks and benefits. It is up to the health care provider to assess and ensure the child's understanding of the treatment.”

I suppose it's not much of a surprise that the Infants Act was originally introduced in 1996 during the last NDP reign of error.

It wasn’t the NDP that got the sexual sterilization act repealed….I suppose it's not much of a surprise that the Infants Act was originally introduced in 1996 during the last NDP reign of error.

The leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia is under fire for a social media post that critics say appeared to compare teaching students about sexual orientation and gender identity to the genocide of Indigenous children in residential schools.
John Rustad, MLA for Nechako Lakes, acknowledged the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in a Sept. 30 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Today we remember what happens when the Canadian government thinks it's better at raising children than parents," read Rustad's Saturday post, which was also shared on his party's official Facebook page.
"I will always stand with parents."
Rustad's post quickly drew criticism from residential school survivors and fellow MLAs, who said it was politicizing the deaths of children at residential schools in order to support the parental rights movement — which supports a ban on teaching B.C. students about sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) in schools.

I think the outcome of all of this is both of the big parties are going to have no choice but to get cozy with the Conservatives, as they'll become the kingmaker in the next election.
The United are totally adrift. People don't like the carbon taxes, and there is absolutely a growing desire among parents for the state to stay in its own lane. It's turning NDP supporters into wildcards.
Know it all.

A few private bathrooms would fix that in most schools.
Should only have private bathrooms, shared bathrooms are weird, regardless of man/woman. Just need a sink and toilet in each room. For the comparatively little cost of putting in all private bathrooms it would be a bargain in terms of keeping the peace.
frankly, the concept of the indoor toilet is a bit weird, only been doing it for about 100 years or so. We think we’re so sophisticated
