I will listen to the 300 year old guru on anti-aging. There seems to be a never ending stream of new gurus who all get old and die at the same age as the rest of us….

Also that reminds me. The new Max Max movie revised the plot so the apocalypse is from climate change not nukes…. In the 80s the fear factory was pumping on the nuclear holocaust so that makes sense. It’s interesting because Nagasaki and Hiroshima are doing amazing despite climate change AND being nuked only 80 years ago!

/\............do remember however that both were atomic (not the much more devastating hydrogen) air burst weapons, designed to detonate far above the ground in order to maximize blast damage: the majority of the radiation released from both bombs never actually made it to ground level. Which, given the cancers that resulted among the populace anyway for years afterward, should tell everyone just how catastrophic the result would be from a single H-bomb exploding at or very close to ground level.
