I never understood why Noodle Box was popular. It's essentially just a bad attempt by white people making Asian food for other white people. Must be because it comes in a Chinese takeout box.

The novelty has worn off.

Besides that, what's up with the "white people" remark?

That doesn't explain the perceived changes in the quality of food since the place first opened. I would agree that some people just don't like noodle boxes, but when you have fans of southeast Asian cuisine turning away then something is amiss.

I love southeast Asian cuisine, but Noodle Box has always been bad in my opinion, even when they were just the Fisgard outlet. I had friends raving about it send me there during a visit into town (before I'd moved back here), and I was pretty surprised it was considered edible, let alone praise worthy.

Crews are responding to the Westshore Town Centre Noodlebox following a report of a possible gas leak.

A gas leak, sirens, bright flashing lights ...and crews have to request mall security to come to Noodlebox.

Where are they?

But they get quite confused when you order up a couple of those Polish dogs and tell them you don't want the two giant bottomless cups of pop that come with it."but... But....they come with it. We can't give you a discount!" " it's ok, dear. I'm fine with that"

Perhaps the title of this thread should be amended to reflect the closure of the Fisgard location.

The place Bao that replaced it is delightful.

$5:00 a BOX on Wednesday 21st.

Alone in the Blue Mountains range in Australia, Jim Hayden’s older brother called to say how much he loved him.

On some level, both knew this was goodbye.

“My gut ached, my heart sank, and I knew something was very wrong at that exact time,” said Jim, now 29 and a part-owner of four Noodle Box locations in the region is holding a fundraiser on Wednesday for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
