Pretty typical wooden construction. What a great location though! Bars, restaurants, gyms...all within a few blocks. Going to Symphony Splash, Canada Day etc. just a stroll.

Yup, pretty good as far as urban living is concerned.

The billboards now say "3.0 Stories".

OK, this is getting to be kinda fun.
30 "stories"... well more like bad jokes out of my grade four joke book:

Let's just relax and set some realistic expectations for this one. Frank's not going to be perfect.

^ Relax?!?
I didn't realize anyone was tense.
My youngest kid enjoyed the jokes.

?!?!?
I must be having a brain-fart because I am not sure what is going on. I think the development is going to be great. I have wanted the derelict buildings on that site gone for years. I think the developer clearly has a wicked good sense of humour and is clearly on the ball as this project is flying along very quickly. (Much better than the 300 Michigan just up the street which seems to be crawling along slowly.)
Are my posts coming across as critical of "Frank" or something?

It's just aastra being aastra. You gotta read between the lines.

I think this thread proves that Victorians can have Frank discussions about development.

If this project is successful we should expect a sequel. They could call it "Son of Frank", but you just know the JBNA would complain about it being a monster.

If this project is successful we should expect a sequel...
Perhaps a second project could be called "Bride of Frank", featuring a building with gentle curves, and a really tall roof.

If they build it on that empty lot across from the Marriott and want to add some Spanish flair to the name (like "Corazon"), they could call it Frank y Valle.

I think the development is looking pretty good now. The wife thinks it looks like a turd but either way it is nicer than what it replaced.

With Franks like that, who needs enemies?

Frank Townhomes;
Well as noticed today,Frank seems to have been an overwhelming success thus far.
One Kingston side town-home remains out of 6 and according to the realtor, the homes have been listed for about 6 weeks since construction completion.
Super quality architectural design and home construction completion ,situated in the heart of a fabulous location, James Bay !
