Rail fans young and old turned out on April 8th to celebrate 130 years of rail on Vancouver Island.
The heritage streamliner train was brought over from the mainland by West Coast Railway, and a few hundred people bought tickets to ride on one of the three one hour tours.
Ticket proceeds went towards the Nanaimo Travellers Lodge fundraiser to enhance their Eden Gardens, for Compassionate Dementia Care.
