I had a young kid from the Helps campaign come to my door, very politely told them more or less what I think of her and kept it as short and kind as possible. So far that's my only interaction with any campaign. You'd think living right in the heart of the densest neighbourhood in the city I'd see a few more door knockers? My apartment barely has a lobby, it's just 5 individual doorbells so we're really accessible.
Way back in the day when I was living with my folks in Rockland we'd get 3-4 of the actual candidates come to the door each election. Is this just a case of politicians knowing that the home owning vote is much more valuable and dependable than renters?
