Alcohol should have cancer warning labels, say doctors and researchers pushing to raise awareness of risk


"Even drinking one drink a day increases your risk of some cancers — including, if you're a woman, breast cancer — but also cancers of the digestive system, the mouth, stomach," said Tim Stockwell, a senior scientist with the Canadian Institute for Substance Use Research at the University of Victoria.

"The risk increases with every drink you take."

Figured I’d be responsible and put in a home bar when the coronavirus thing took hold. finished wood bar, mirror in the back, neon signage, etc I’ve liked alcohol but alcohol doesn’t liked me but once you get into perfecting those mixed drinks..

Someone sent me a $140 bottle of rye from Alberta for Christmas. Pondering regifting it as I don’t drink much these days but I gotta have a taste.

Are you more likely to get cancer from the cheap stuff? Hangover seems worse on the cheap stuff
