No, I prefer shallower pursuits. Things like Peter Benchley novels and Raquel Welch movies. And this message board.

Yeah interesting observation for sure; my first impression looking at the images was that this was rather.....sterile and pedestrian. Since neither of us drink we also tend not to patronize 'fine dining' restaurants where high end wines or liquors are a feature and comprise so much of the atmosphere. I would also pass on this one. I just want good food in a setting that doesn't look like a hospital operating theatre....

 

......and I bet without looking it up that most people under age 45-50 have no clue as to the relationship between Raquel Welch and this place

The restaurant-side picture looks pretty stilted.  No fun allowed here!

 

The bar-side picture shows a space with more potential, in a lounge-y lean back with your gin and tonic sort of way; if imagined with somewhat lower lighting and a piano softly playing in one corner....
