It's the first of its kind on Vancouver Island.

Car wash tunnels are so boring though.

Why not combine it with a Pirates of the Caribbean type experience, then the whole family can enjoy?

So you mean like the type of carwash we had before the advent of the touchless car wash.

Yup like the one that existed on Fort St back in the 70's/80's, my first real p/t job, aged 16. The entire process from vacuuming to pre-wash, wash, rinse, drying was all manually performed by a team of 4-6 guys including chamois by hand, waxing, the whole enchilada.....

Yup, the kind with spinning brushes that absolutely slaughter your paint.

Those brushes are no good!

I like the concept. Multiple vehicles pass through the tunnel simultaneously. No more waiting for 100% of the car in front of you to go through the wash before you can enter.

GaryOak’s dad is going to love this!

That’s a bit dramatic.

Were the chamois paid the same as the human workers?

I hope there aren't going to be any actual wildcats on that wildcat trail. Things could get ugly in a hurry if a few wildcats get together and try to corner the chamois inside the carwash tunnel.

A good pair of scissors can help make it go down easier.

I think a car wash isn’t for you.

My wife is fundraising to take 18 kids to London next summer - I see many more carwashes in my future! We did one last weekend and made a surprising amount of money! I manned the bbq naturally.
