The comments about TVA have not been kind.

Ironic that this “news” was reported by the CBC.

TVA is the biggest private network in Quebec, and its president is exhorting the CRTC to make changes to its archaic laws, saying the network could be on its last leg.

If the residents of Quebec cannot keep TVA viable, it should be allowed to die a natural death.

Then what's the only option left? CBC. Sounds like a government funded monopoly to me.

I have long advocated for the abolition of taxpayer funding for the CBC.
