Sam Bankman-Fried, known by some as "the Bernie Madoff of crypto," used to be one of Democrats’ favorite billionaires.
Not anymore. Who could forget how quickly he fell from grace? One minute, SBF ran a multibillion-dollar company that had its name on the Miami Heat’s stadium, logo on baseball umpires’ uniforms, and sponsorships with some of the world’s most famous celebrities. Now, he’s rotting in the same prison as Diddy.
What has the whole ordeal been like from his perspective? Today, Bankman-Fried joins The Tucker Carlson Show to tell all about his highly publicized downfall, including what day-to-day life is like behind bars, how Democrats betrayed him, and more.
Sam Bankman-Fried offers a surprising prison insight:
“They’re good at chess. That’s one thing I’ve learned. Former armed robbers who don’t speak English and probably didn’t graduate middle school are… a surprising number of them are very good at chess. I’m not saying they’re Grand Masters, but I lose games to them all the time. I was not expecting that.”
