I listened to half of it this morning while cutting down some bushes in the yard.

Quite thought provoking.

Rogan's undeniable appeal to the millions of people that listen to his podcast is that he's an intelligent provocateur on multiple subjects of great interest to lots of people.

He knows full well that the U.S. landed multiple astronauts on the moon, but his personality of the provocateur turns that conversation into an interesting, if not entirely factual examination involving the retelling of stories from both the moon landing deniers, and the moon landing believers.

If you're inclined to simply listen to two intelligent guys talk about the moon landing, then you're intrigued by the conversation, and enjoy the conversation.

If however, you're inclined to conspiracy theories, then you allow all of Rogan and Walsh's conversation to generate the confirmation bias that you're looking for as a conspiracy theorist.

The moon landings are all far more comprehensively documented than Rogan is letting on, and most, if not all the questions he asked have been answered in detail over and over again (the flag waved when the astronaut moved by it because his space suit constantly vented carbon dioxide, and that carbon dioxide "blew" the flag, etc, etc).

Some of Rogan's podcasts I listen to from start to finish because they're either incredibly good, incredibly interesting, or both.

Moving off the topic of the moon landings, if you want to listen to, or watch (I prefer the video of the podcast) something scary enough that you can't look away - watch his interview with David Lee Roth from Van Halen.

I won't project my own opinion of Roth's mental health, but just acknowledge Rogans excellent interview skills.

Yes, watched it.  Roth is quite something, lol.

The boss of one of Australia's largest media organisations has been slammed after launching a bizarre attack on the world's leading podcaster Joe Rogan, arguing he was "deeply repulsive" and took advantage of "people's vulnerabilities".

ABC Chair Kim Williams, whose organisation receives more than $1.2 billion a year in taxpayer funding, made the comments as his own organisation struggled with significant drops in audience figures.

The national broadcaster recorded a 3.5 per cent decline across all platforms compared to last financial year, while the drops have been far worse in radio, forcing management to sack multiple hosts in a bid to revamp show formats.

Even though Mr Williams launched the inflammatory, and highly personal, attack against Rogan, he confusingly stated he never watched the Joe Rogan Experience.

“I think that people like Mr Rogan prey on people's vulnerabilities. They prey on fear. They prey on anxiety,” he said.

“They prey on all of the elements that contribute to uncertainty in society, and they entrepreneur fantasy outcomes and conspiracy outcomes as being a normal part of social narrative.

"I personally find it deeply repulsive, and to think that someone has such remarkable power in the United States is something that I look at in disbelief.

"I am not a consumer or enthusiast about Mr Rogan and his work. I am not one of the three billion and I'm unlikely to be three billion and one anytime soon."

Donald Trump is considering giving the likes of Joe Rogan and Megyn Kelly a seat in the White House press briefing room instead of mainstream media journalists in a plot that will 'blow up some heads'.

The stunning plan was revealed by the president-elect's eldest son Donald Trump Jr. on a recent episode of his podcast 'Triggered with Donald Trump Jr.'

Speaking to his co-host Michael Knowles, Jr. admitted that the incoming White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt may rework the briefing room seating arrangement to make way for Trump's new podcast 'bro' buddies.

Rogan's brand is effectively sucking up to whomever he's asking questions of in a friendly and non-threatening way, this by asking softball questions, most of which he already knows the answers to.

This methodology works extremely well on his podcast, as it inspires his guests to get very comfortable, and answer his questions with a level of detail and fulsomeness that other interviewers can only dream of.

Trump will do whatever he wants to with the White House press room, as any President has the right to do, but it would be an error to paint this as any kind of revolutionary or productive journalism.

If it happens, it will just be an extension of Rogan's podcast, functionally nothing more than the equivalent of a Trump press release.

Well, Rogan is not going to go to Washington and sit in on press conferences.

What I get from Rogan, that I don’t get from much of the MSM, is he is genuinely curious about the topic, or at least does a great job at looking like he is, and he doesn’t come prepared with a long list of gotchas that the interviewee has to watch out for. Other media will try to trip up a high profile interviewee on purpose.

Also, and this is key, is he fact checks in real time. “Jamie, pull that up, I want to see the photo we’re talking about.”

What’s worrying to the MSM, is the interview is 2 hours long unedited, not 20 minutes of deeply cut and spliced content. It doesn’t allow for creative narrative making after the fact.

So ultimately, Rogan lets his guest destroy themselves slowly over a two hour long interview (and it absolutely has happened before), or he supports his guest getting his message out clearly, succinctly, and eloquently so that even if you don’t agree with the person, you understand why they think the way they do.

I have only seen three full episodes. The conversation format is great though. It’s not softball question. No one wants to have a conversation with someone attacking you and trying to verbally trap you. He defined a format and deserves props for that. He also lets people hang themselves on their own merits.

IDK. I watched his flick what is a woman. It was kinda funny in part because it’s true. Didn’t see his latest. There is also something about him that rubs me wrong.

Kylie Kelce, wife of former NFL player turned media personality Jason Kelce, beat out Joe Rogan for the top podcast spot on both Apple and Spotify this week.

On Apple Music, “Not Gonna Lie,” hosted by Kelce, ranked ahead of Rogan’s show, “Crime Junkie” and the New York Times “The Daily,” several heavyweights in the space.

During her inaugural episode, Kelce spoke on her recent pregnancy announcement, gave her thoughts on gender reveals and shared what the past two years have been like as the Kelce family has rose in prominence.

“When I said ‘I prefer to be behind the scenes,’ I very much meant that,” Kelce said. “So the last two years have forced me to turn it into a positive, to figure out how to control the narrative, and to embrace it. And I think that perfectly sums up why we’re here.”

The Hawk Tuah girl did a podcast at least every 7 days since September, but now she has been missing for 13 days since she said she was "going to bed" after the crypto controversy.    :judge:
