Building one is going up about a floor a week. Building two just started using the flying tables, so now that the floor plate is consistent it will also move rapidly. Building three is still at the rebar stage for the ground floor. It takes a long time and they will do a huge concrete pour.

Flying tables, rapidly moving floor plates... is this a construction site or a Harry Potter movie?

Meanwhile at the Roundhouse site, everything is under an invisibility cloak.

I'm just glad somebody finally removed Dockside Green's "frozen in time" curse.
But I also wish Victoria developers and CoV staff had never learned the Latin incantation for "envelop this building in spandrel and plain gray panels."

Are we topped out on Tower 1? Immense progress over the past year and it's looking like Tower 2 isn't all that far behind
Agree, was over there yesterday and was surprised how quickly they are moving this project along.

I am worried that there will be a line of condos all looking very much the same and the same heights along Tyee. I thought Dockside would be an advancement. I hope it won't look as bad as I fear.

They’ll be growing taller as they get to Esquimalt Road.
The heights should have been more staggered throughout the development.

Isn't the height staggered through? The buildings aren't dramatically different in heights but we have the current 10 story going to 13, 14 and 16 stories and then subsequently 20 stories.

Dont worry, give it a bit of time and most of the city will be typical American style condo towers.

Thanks for the update Marko, looks like they've beaten their own schedule. I hear that Tower 1 is over 90% sold and they've already received a very strong response to Tower 2.
