Victoria has lost about 1,000 hotel rooms over the past decade due to hotel conversions to rental accommodation, seniors housing and other purposes, and Mairet said only 380 of those rooms have been replaced.

I think he moved on from Atlific Properties and started a consulting biz and looked after the reno at the hotel across from the Marriott, the one with the Starbucks on the bottom, whatever it’s called.
Loved my time at the Marriott, but they weren’t good employers.

Harbour Towers? But I caution all decent citizens to resist the temptation to ponder those "other purposes", lest they end up pointing the proverbial finger in the wrong direction.

Almost sure Oswego hotel was last. 2007.
I think the Harbour Towers Hotel was converted to rental apartments a couple of years ago. Its now called The James at Harbour Towers.

I guess it depends what "Victoria" means in this context? Since 2010 have there been any new hotel rooms added in Victoria city?
