And will sell out in about 3 seconds. The last time he was here I was online EXACTLY at 10:00 am and after holding for 10 minutes was told all tickets for 2 shows were sold.

Wife is demanding I get tickets.  Any ideas if the in person line or online gives you a better shot?  I'm off the day they're on sale so theoretically I could sit in line for a few hours before they go on sale with some Baileys in a coffee mug.

There is no point standing in line.  You are assigned a random number.  So arriving 5 hours early does not get you any earlier than arriving 15 minutes early.

Canadian musical icon Valdy will be performing at the podunk Merville Community Hall between Courtenay and Campbell River on the 26th. A lot cheaper than Elton John.

10 minutes before the official ticket sales for Elton John start and the system is already locked up.

I bet I end up having to go the scalper route. Something needs to be done about the way large concert ticket sales are handled. It's become absurd.
