Departures Pavilion, Western Expansion, extensive baggage
handling system upgrades, new international arrivals processing, expanded holdrooms,
concessions, offices, and significant associated civil works. The Program is forecast to be
delivered over multiple phases and years and is expected to address the capacity
constraints identified in the 2024 Capacity Analysis—most notably in check-in, pre-board
screening, holdrooms, baggage make-up, baggage reclaim, Canada Border Services
Agency (CBSA), and gate capacity.

Will we see anyone other than Durwest? I believe Durwest was the contractor on the majority, if not all, of the major terminal projects under the former CEO. I may be wrong, and would appreciate confirmation if anyone has it.
They were on the last three major projects. They have favored them in the past.
Nanaimo Airport too....

Yes, the first big project was the new airline counters, east end, rotunda, west baggage claim and the lower hold room.Ok, I thought so. This is dating back to the early 2000s when the terminal was first expanded woth the rotunda and glass terminal.
Second was the upper hold room and baggage make up and screening area expansion.
Then the parking lot projects and then the further lower hold room.
They were very good keeping airlines and tenants updated on project stages and moves we all had to face over the years.
