I have no idea of the status of this project, but here are a couple of renderings

Man I hate cheap suburban "west coast" architecture...

Often drive by it on route to surf. Nothing going on, Construction fencing was removed late in the summer. Only sign of activity now is because the RBC burnt down across the street, so it looks like they are building a new building here.

Oh, and that misleading "85% SOLD" sign is still up, and from my friends who foolishly bought pre-sale in the building (which is still unfinished I might add), nothing else has sold, plenty of vacant units. Ah well.

Just casually browsing listings recently and noticed prices on these condos have gone down significantly.. anybody know anything new about what's going on with this development?  Are things finally getting finished?

Keycorp Consulting, which is planning the project for Seacliff, said the proposed development will bring improvements to Highway 14, including a new transit stop along the property’s frontage, an eastbound left-turn lane into Sooke Elementary School, an expanded westbound left-turn lane onto Goodmere Road, and intersection improvements for Sooke and Goodmere roads.

 

Malcolm McNaughton, ­Keycorp’s director of planning and business development, said the project will also include sidewalks, boulevard landscaping and a new pedestrian connection, and bring an extension of Lanark Road through to ­Goodmere Road, completing a much-needed “multi-modal” alternative to Highway 14.
