Oh for sure, but as I said, it really shouldn't be rocket science to engineer a small leak-free water feature.

I do know that swimming pools tend to leak, especially as they age. Any kind of settling results in cracked concrete and leaks.

I saw a couple of the bikes. They look like the Bixi's in Montreal or the Mobi's in Vancouver. They'll have fancy docking stations like those services as well. They have started to install some of the racks around the Atrium.

We have all the details coming out soon.  Today.  They will only be for employees.

Of course this is true, but a shallow, water feature should be able to easily be designed to prevent leakage, certainly in a structure as new as the Atrium. Perhaps it's not so much the fault of the architect but of the builders.

Well, of course it's not designed to leak.

Washers and connections have a tendency to fail over time. Water is very good at finding the path of least resistance.

Also, the Atrium/Jawl is setting up some sort of bicycle sharing/co-op. I bet the new Pandora and legislature buildings will be linked up as well.

Add to that a charging station at Our Place and the Rock Bay shelter.

I've yet to see a bike used here.

I kind of wonder who would use one.

Most lunch breaks are only 1/2 hour these days.
