I did find myself skipping back 30 seconds here and there just to watch RDJ's facial expressions. He's fabulous in the movie, the whole cast is.

It was awesome! My kids learned it front to back, kind of spooky.

I think I might take in Civil War.

Seems interesting, and pretty good reviews from critics and audiences.

America has been engaged in a cold civil war for at least the past 20 years.

You know, I took the opportunity recently to watch some old Lou Grant episodes.

It’s all the same issues. Maybe just a bit more severe.

Skipped it.

Saw some bad reviews from my side.

I ended up watching the Ashton Kutcher Steve Jobs movie. I really liked it. I’m not sure it was so poor compared to the other more big budget one.

I liked this one as much.

This is interesting:

“Barbie The Movie: In Concert” has been added to the Hollywood Bowl lineup slated for July 27, and features a live-to-film music experience from The Barbie Land Sinfonietta, a special presentation from executive producer and orchestrator Macy Schmidt’s all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra.

Schmidt, a Tony Award-winning producer, recently became the first woman of color orchestrator in Broadway history.

A friend who works at "Hollywood North" at Lionsgate, whose opinion I value, said that Civil War was a hot mess and "utter dreck". Good enough for me. The reviews in general are generally very poor. Sounds very much to me like Dunkirk, another highly hyped movie at the time that was crapulent in the extreme. I will however likely go see Tron 3 whenever it comes out since Jeff Bridges has committed to reprise his role in the franchise.

For the record if you want to see a superior movie about war and in spite of the fact its now four years old, check out 1917 - which was the movie that Dunkirk aspired to be.

I liked Dunkirk.

1917 was good, in part due to cool cinematography.

I still like A Bridge Too Far for required ww2 viewing and Galipoli for a WW1 film.

I would imagine at this stage of his life, Mr. Bridges will have to be entirely CGI'd to reprise his role, which, considering the genre of this franchise, seems apropos.

A bridge too far is a must see. Cinematic history. I remember seeing Galipoli again and it sucking after thinking I loved it.

Galipoli is pretty raw. It’s a 1981 film. So no tricks available.

But that story, that ending. Hard not to be shaken.

Mel Gibson. Some history to be learned. I think there is a lot to like.

“I’ll see you when I see you”

“Not if I see you first”.

“What are your legs?”

“Steel springs”

I have not watched it in 20 years. But I don’t forget.

Unfrosted was a decent 3 minute sketch unfortunately stretched over an hour and a half. It looked good though and the cast was grreeeaaat.
