They found their game the last two outings. But it just gets tougher from here. Some good hockey being played though!

Over the season the Canucks have done better against the good teams than the bad teams, the better the team the better Vancouver will do?

Then they should have finished 1st in the league, instead of 5th.

The difference between the Canucks and the teams with more points is not a lot. Canucks won 49 games, San Jose 51, Chicago 52. Phoenix 50, and Washington 54. A very small difference. The difference in points comes from the other four teams losing more games in OT or shoot outs than the Canucks.

Meanwhile I am looking forward to the first all Canadian final since 1989. That should give the NHL's highest viewership of final ever.

Boy, anyone who happened to bet a lot of money against the Capitals when they were up 3-1 sure ended up doing well. Same thing for anyone who happened to bet a lot of money against the Penguins when they were up 3-2.

If the Cinderella Canadiens come crashing down to earth against the Bruins or the Flyers then I'll really be wondering how legitimate all of this was.

But then I'm a suspicious person.

Canadiens ended up losing in 5 games against the Flyers, and were shut out three times. Just sayin'.
