^ I'm guessing there are no plans or images on the dev tracker for this one?

Nope, it's not on the Dev Tracker. No plans on the Browns website, but they do indicate a Spring 2019 open.

Detailed plans are now available on the Dev Tracker: https://tender.victo...Number=DPV00099
Brown's has applied for a variance related to setbacks, which would allow them to build a patio.

Work inside is well underway. Framing going up in some places and it appears that patio work might be starting soon.

They've been holding job fairs next to Save-On. I asked them when they expect to open and was told July 31st.

Opening tomorrow at 4 PM.
Thanks for the update Gary, but Where's The Beer? Crafthouse? Looks like Snackhouse.

That's just the take-out menu. The 18-hour ramen sounds interesting.

woops i missed that "Take Out" on the first photo. maybe it was the big words CRAFT, plus the skull and crossbones, or the beer cap graphics that made me think there might be beer on the menu.
Nice spot for winter indoors, but the outdoor patio facing right beside Bay Street with all that bridge work noise might be a bit offputting.
Nonetheless, we'll give it a shot!

Also note that the entrance is the red door on the side (back?) of the building, not the old bank entrance. IIRC, that "area" around the new red door used to be the bank vault.

Sooke Brewing Company is the brewery, but what's the beer? I guess it'll be a rotator?

^ Probably? You'd think they would have placed it with Moon and Lighthouse at the end of the list, then. Other possibility is they forgot to add the beer name, and it's a pilsner, lager, or blonde ale (since the beer list reads in style order)

Too difficult a task (or too lazy) to put beer prices on the menu.

Well if it's $7.50 plus tax for a 330ml Corona, the sky is the limit for their pint prices.
