I ask this on all of the real estate fb pages too, no one seems to have an answer but I feel like, and don’t quote me in this, but affordability seems to be getting worse, not better.

Sounds like Marko nailed it to me. Supply and demand trumps incomes and ratios. Mortgage payment is the last thing to go, and holding your breath for that scenario has proven to be a waste of time. Prices can stay irrational longer than you can stay sane.

I have a hard time seeing a soft landing for Canada when it comes to Real Estate. Keep in mind this is three years old. I'd like to see an updated one.

A bit of a dip, then flattish period before spiking again. I think we're in that flat period already, and didn't really see a dip this time.
