Looks like we will hit 500 sales for the month which is not too bad in my opinion.

Wow, housing prices fell 1.8% while condos only fell 0.4% in one month

Looks like for the month of December we will have the second fewest new listings since 1990 with 2000 being the only year with less properties listed in December.

As the market reacted to federal and provincial regulations (and in some cases municipal), Victoria's residential real-estate valuations fared relatively well. The consensus is that 2019 will yield a more quantifiable market trend as buyers/sellers settle in with new regulations.

I was speaking to a realtor colleague today and he said the condo his clients had put an offer on was ...one of seven!

Down about 9% from last year. Sales usually pick up as we go along

I guess there isn't much chance of seeing 170 sales between now and Thursday, especially as we've only been averaging around 10/day.  :mellow:
