Anyone know how much the rental townhomes out front are going for?

I was at Glo recently, and the new building really fits in well with the rest of the development. A few more of these around the harbour would be most welcome.

Looks great. Makes you wish a few of the other buildings went for more than 3-4 stories.

I wish this site was closer to downtown or better connected. It's sort of a little colony or even gated community feel to it. It's nice, but not really connected to the fabric of the city very well.

I'd like to see some junior highrise buildings in the back properties there.

Hopefully when Rock Bay gets cleaned up the city will eventually extend to Selkirk.

So whatever happened to gumgum?

Now about those mid-rises/junion highrises or whatever, the parking lots at Selkirk present excellent opportunities for exactly those kinds of buildings. It'll happen in due course.

Why not? Why shoudn't an umbrella group like the Gorge Waterway Initiative provide input to development along the Gorge waterway? What am I missing?

Skybridge just installed at Selkirk development, connecting the building housing Glo Restaurant & Lounge with the new building next door.

Seems odd that the lower buildings are behind the taller one...6 storey behind, 4 storey off water makes more sense to me....

Wasn't that installed a long time ago? I swear I saw it before. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Oh, I don't know, it looked like they had just put it in. Maybe not.

If you scroll up to Gary H's photos, looks like in September 2014 it was being framed.
Thought the same thing myself.

I walked down there last week at night and the new development fits right in to the master plan. That whole development is fantastic.
