Use technology to find dementia patients

 

 

The technology exists to prevent tragedies such as what happened to Christian Dube. It would save so much angst, panic, grief and even loss of life if we could simply AirTag dementia patients.

 

This technology is designed to find things that are lost and would result in much better outcomes than the ones we read about in the news.

RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Nikita Yavarovski who was reported missing on December 5, 2024.

Nikita Yavarovski was last seen in December 5, 2024.

 

Description of Nikita Yavarovski:

Caucasian man;
21 years-old;
5 ft 8 ins;
146 lbs;
Brown hair;
Green eyes.

Police are concerned for Nikita’s health and well-being.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Nikita Yavarovski is urged to contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Three years after a Victoria man vanished from his Fairfield-Gonzales home, a new podcast delves into his disappearance.

 

Ian Indridson was last seen in the early morning hours of Jan. 10, 2022, when he woke his wife as he tossed and turned in bed. Plagued with recent insomnia, he went to sleep in a spare bedroom.

 

Indridson, 54, always got up first to walk and feed their dog before he woke up his wife, Gloria Mendez, around 7:30 a.m.

 

But when Mendez woke up alone shortly before 8 a.m. and found the dog had been fed and a fresh pot of coffee on, she immediately knew something was wrong. Indridson had left behind his wallet, keys and phone.

Saanich police search for Shane

 

Shane

 

A man identified as Shane left his home in the 4500-block of Blenkinsop about noon Jan. 13 and did not return.

He is white, 55, 5'8" w/short curly black/grey hair, brown eyes, likely to have grey stubble or a short grey beard.

Last seen wearing a blue puffy jacket and is known to frequent downtown Victoria.

I’ve scoured Spd socials and their site, and no mention of this missing person. Where are they asking the public to help search for him?

A lot of people seem to go missing from that facility (Seven Oaks).
