Boring, doesn't even explode.
At 5:20 in 1500 frames per second you can see bits of the wick still on fire shooting the past the fire suppression agent.
May also spread an oil fire.

That the only way you get burnt?
If we have a fire safety thread that way you don't need to go to it.

2,900, that's pretty good!
Well worth the time in jail, he can sell a book now.

That's why I don't like to take pictures of fire scenes. Arsonists often stick around to take photos. Not an association I want.

Heritage House at 902 Foul Bay was heavily damaged by fire last night... House has some interesting history... Last I heard it was overrun with cats.

Bizarre.

I don't know if law enforcement screwed up or if they knew he did the arson but left no evidence and the cops arrested and released him anyway just to shake him up.

What's also bizarre is that he was held overnight, and that fact is agreed to by him. It's also completely unnecessary to do to an 80-year-old with strong ties to the community, but I digress.
But held overnight usually means you are seeing a judge in the morning. But he did not see one, we'd see that online if he did, and it's not there.

A person can be held for up to 24 hours without charge so if he was brought in say at 7 pm and sprung at 7 am it would be legal and no need to se a judge sometimes cops do this to intimate or to scare a person into talking usually only works on people who don't know the games cops play when they have you
Yes, this is true.

The TC headline says Large's charges were dropped, but that's only him saying it. No word from police or crown.

I don't have new stats but this is from 1990:
[Vancouver Province]
Across B.C., damage totalling almost $30 million was caused in 1,413 arson fires in 1989.
Nine of last year's arsons were for financial gain; 72 were to cover crimes, eight were religiously motivated and 33 were set out of revenge. Another 349 were caused by vandals while 333 were classified by the fire commissioner's office in Victoria as arson with no known motives.
No one died in arson fires last year. But in 1988 - when there were 1,319 arsons in B.C. - five people died.

Very strange. I am thinking that this story is not over yet.
