This VW buses are unreliable pieces of junk that pollute like crazy but hippies love them for some reason.
I owned a 1971 for a few years, it was great! Just like this:
I paid $1800 for it, circa 1990.

Should be able to fix that with an emissions test.

The Mitsubishi Delica. The Fernwood crowd adores these even though their 1992 diesel motors puke out more particulate matter, sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide than 500 gasoline cars.

What did you like more? The 75 horse power motor or the ever present reek of gasoline vapours?

Perhaps the inescapable aroma of doob that undoubtedly permeated every soft surface.

I don't think we've ever been seen in the same place at the same time. Maybe we are the same person with a split personality?

In a previous life I dealt with the media quite a bit. Always shocked what would be written compared to what I said. But I still need to be reminded once in a while that you can't go by what is written in the story. The TC story about the van fire says no other vehicles were affected which is just not true.

It was quite the workhorse. Ya, taking it up to Penticton for Peachfest was a bit of an adventure. A few hills the passengers had to disembark.

Anyone else wondering why for the last 1+ hours a blue and white helicopter has been ever so slowly cruising back and forth generally along the Gorge waterway? Its not a CCG heli (wrong colors) but I'm wondering if its maybe a police unit looking for someone. Anyone aware of an incident perhaps happening on or near the waterway between roughly the Selkirk neighborhood and east of the Tillicum bridge? He just continues to very slowly cruise in a very steady deliberate ellipse like they're looking for someone or something.....
