Not even a Michelin 3-star restaurant is worth that sort of wait especially standing up outside.

How about waiting in line outside for 5 hours - for a 5 minute ride?  This is for the new Frozen themed ride at Walt Disney World in Orlando.  http://www.marketwat...ride-2016-06-28

^ But in fairness, you do not sit in the line for 300 minutes, you come back when summoned or scheduled.

Looking at the RFBF line up drove Duncan M. crazy....well I think that's what did it.

Some people don't like to line-up for food. I get that. But it is hardly a flawed business model. There are a lot of restaurants that wish they were RFBF, Pags, or Vij's.

In many cases a line actually helps the business as it creates the perception that the place has good food and is popular.

The old, tried and true disco gambit. Create a long line, gotta be the place to be!
Though I do hear RFBF is tasty.

The tipoff is when half the people in line don't order anything.

So my BIL is coming to visit us next week from Regina: all the poor guy knows about the West Coast and Victoria is "RFBF" where he begged me to take him last time he was out here about five years ago. He heard about it from guys at his employer (how a bunch of power engineers from Regina heard about I have no idea...).

So the question is this - is RFBF still the great tasty seafood dining experience it was then? Lineup or not doesn't matter: all he cares about is whether the food is still up to snuff. I haven't ventured down there myself since that visit five years ago so I'm hoping someone who's been there more recently can chime in.....

^yep, still going strong with the daily lunch lineup. My folks always want to go when they’re visiting from the flatlands too. I’m no foodie, but it Tasted just as good to me last month as it did 10 years ago…
