Good afternoon Vibrant Victorians. For your listening pleasure today the gang covers a lot of topics but they all revolve around collaboration instead of partisan fighting. The VV pages have been hot with disagreement for a few weeks now so take a break and have a listen to some passionate people contemplate the real meaning of Win/Win where the idea wins and not the person. Enjoy, share with a friend and thank you for listening. http://bit.ly/1oX7pOY

week we were lucky enough to get Stacy Kuiack to come in and chat about his last posting in Fort McMurray
working on the urban regeneration project the current Mayor had spearheaded a few years ago. Excellent example of money not being able to solve all our problems. Corruption, lack of public buy in and a plan stalling half
way along. Enjoy the show, share with a friend and we love your comments. http://bit.ly/1vB9pgq

Good Afternoon Vibrant Victorians,
This week we had the pleasure of having Maureen Sawa from Greater Victoria Public Library come in and chat about community, how a library fits into the scheme of things with both new and existing citizens and how to be relevant in this electronic age. Enjoy the show, share with a friend and thanks for listening. http://bit.ly/1mBk03K

This week on Lisa, Gene and Eric we explore the debate on speed limits and why in gods name does a city council with so many pressing issues spend so much time deciding to slow us down. Like most shows, this topic spring
boards us into familiar and unchartered waters. Enjoy the show, support our sponsors please and share with a
friend. http://bit.ly/1qzFemn

Good morning Vibrant Victorians, This week not only do we question a sitting politicians decision to run for council after the debacles we are "enjoying" in our fair city around some of the infrastructure projects, but also we chat about the process around the St Andrews development and how it relates to the community in the area and the city as a whole. Enjoy the show and share with a friend. http://bit.ly/1tKFMep

Good Morning VVers. Our latest attempt at civil discussion on hot topics is available for your listening pleasure and this week we explore the concept of environmental evangelism and the irony of a Ford 450 truck with a NO TO PIPELINES bumper sticker. Plus how to get families to move downtown when there are very few amenities for them. What comes first the family or the children museum. Enjoy the show, share with a friend and we love your feed back. http://bit.ly/1ptQort

This week and right before our local municipal elections we managed to get an Economist from UVIC, Dr Martin Farnham, to join the
gang to discuss a regional look at stability in Victoria and the surrounding region. With some good realistic suggestions from the Dr and downright right wing reactionary suggestions by yours truly, this was a classic LG&E. Enjoy whilst you are doing something
mundane and watch the time fly. Thanks for listening, we love your comments and share with a friend. http://bit.ly/1u6bcKh

Good Morning Vibrant Victorians,
Way back in the early days of 29er Radio we managed to get the then councilor and new mayor Lisa Helps to sit down and share her story. We thought it might be helpful for you to hear as back then our distribution wasn't all that big. Enjoy the show and as always share with a friend please. http://bit.ly/1xPMd0e

Now that she's been elected as mayor, do you think she'll still be able to take the time to podcast?

Good question GumGum,
Lisa said that she would continue with the show and there hasn't been a show yet that all of us didn't finish with "wow that is a lot of fun" so unless her handlers convince her it would be bad for her, I am hoping we continue on.

^Wouldn't it be a great "Langford" story, seeing as that is where he is located?

Nice one LJ. It is actually a greater Victoria story if we are going to be pedantic as Steve grew up in saanich, and his first job and store was in Victoria. The guy gets about

We are taping our first LG&E since the local elections with Mayor elect Lisa Helps. If you would like me to pose any questions to the Lisa for the show which will be released next week then message me or tweet them to @29erradio for what it is worth I will be asking about the volunteers issue in parks.

Our latest Lisa, Gene & Eric show is up with Victoria's new Mayor still with us. This week we heard a little about the ins and outs of running for Mayor and what Lisa plans for her term in office. Of course homeless issues comes up but luckily the gang
contemplated other options than opening another charity and hiring another fund raiser. Enjoy the show, share with a friend, thanks for listening and we love your comments. http://bit.ly/1rXDwLR

Good Morning Vibrant Victorians,
This week Lisa, Gene & Eric are joined by Colleen Hardwick who started Place Speak which was created to help people interested and affected by the Arbutus Corridor railway issue engage via the internet and since has blossomed into a useful tool for groups looking to engage and garner public input in a meaningful way. Eric uses his "hammer" analogy to explore both the good and bad ways a tool can be used. Enjoy the show, share with a friend and thanks for listening. http://bit.ly/1xFIAug
