Good Morning Vibrant Victorians,
Nuance is understanding that cooking oil can substitute for diesel but Oil of Ulay cant. Nuance is understanding that although Jane Jacobs preaches breaking up long blocks to promote vibrant neighbourhoods, forcing developers to put walk ways in their developments ruins layouts and creates unused alleys. Using nuance badly creates unforeseen circumstances that the public will have to live with whilst the politicians go on to their well paid consulting jobs. Enjoy the show http://bit.ly/1nbKe4F
As far as I could tell, you didn't even talk about these types of walkways in the show, so I'm not sure why you're bringing these up here.
As someone who walks about 6 km downtown every day, I love these walkways. I am excited for the new one in the Hudson project, meaning people will now be able to walk from Caledonia to Pandora without using a roadside crosswalk. Those are nice things to have, these people places, and any that are unused (e.g, the one between Fisgard and Cormorant, which I have walked by for 10 years now but only just discovered that it even exists 2 months ago) more speaks to their design than to demand.
