How many other people in this thread are planning to live in their unit, rather than rent it out?

Your developer has hired a management company (probably already identified in your prospectus, where you will see your "estimated" monthly strata fees). Once the building is complete (ie., you get the keys) the management company will run things until the first AGM, when the owners will vote in a strata council. The Strata Council will then decide whether to continue to use that developer-appointed management company, hire a different one (not likely for 3-4 years) or self manage (very unlikely). So, you're a few years away.

I haven't seen any construction on a form for the crane base yet, so I'd guess we're still a few weeks away. We'll know they're close when the crane bits show up in the Roundhouse area.

Looks as though they'll have the one side up to 'ground level' or higher before the other crane is up.

The site diagram that includes the crane reach is posted on the hoarding. Note the the "no fly" zone for the first crane not accurate any more since they are using a portion of the empty field southeast of the presentation center for construction storage.
