That's a week old.
Big news dropped today from the government itself, showing Canada will be $25 billion worse off because of the tax, not including the out of pocket expenses impacting Canadians.
CBC (the article in that MSN link) calls the carbon tax the "federal fuel charge."
I thought that's what the GST was?

Green Municipal Fund
The Green Municipal Fund administered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) offers grants and low-interest loans that can assist with both studies and capital projects that aim to reduce energy use.
The Green Municipal Fund is similar to CMHC’s Co-Investment Fund in its requirements regarding energy efficiency, but there is no requirement of accessibility. This can make it a good alternative for buildings where accessibility upgrades are impossible without structural changes. Regardless of accessibility conditions, it is an option worth considering, as the potential size of the grant portion is tied to the increase in buildings’ energy efficiency.

Even though weather projections suggest this summer will be one of the driest at Sooke Lake since 1896, the CRD is confident supply won’t be affected.
Where does this actual statement come from? I can't find it published anywhere. Except in today's TC.

If you click on charts, then rainfall-annual, then x 10, you can go back to 1915, which is quite interesting to compare.
