Unfortunately, the Cybertuck can’t tug. Once the Silverado begins to pull the Cybertruck, some sort of failsafe kicks in and disables the motors/cuts power to the Cybertruck. This was a big letdown, especially since Tesla hyped the Cybertruck tug-of-war abilities during the debut. The Cybertruck does manage to pull the Silverado but only when its in park (with nobody inside the truck for some odd reason too).
In the video, you’ll see that they even disconnected the ABS sensors on the Cybertruck, but that still didn’t allow it to tug. Maybe there is a workaround? If so, we think someone will find it soon enough, so stay tuned to see if a tampered-with Cybertruck can tug-of-war.
It seems we may have been duped by Tesla and Elon Musk because replicating something like what’s seen in the video below doesn’t appear to be possible with a stock Cybertruck.

The drivers accused Tesla of false advertising in the lawsuit last August. The plaintiffs claimed that the company was trying to sell its EVs by overstating how far they could drive on a single battery charge.
The lawsuit said, "Had Tesla honestly advertised its electric vehicle ranges, consumers, either would not have purchased Tesla model vehicles or else would have paid substantially less for them."
US district judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers made the decision on the basis that when the Tesla owners bought their vehicles, they signed an "order agreement," which includes an arbitration provision.
This means they must follow Tesla's resolution process in the agreement. If their issues are not resolved within 60 days, they must be dealt with by an individual arbitrator, not a judge or jury, the court said, citing the agreement.
The lawsuit cited a Reuters investigation, which reported Tesla had exaggerated vehicles' driving range. The report cited a source with knowledge of an early design of Tesla software, who claimed it rigged the range-estimating software on the cars' dashboards.
The Reuters report, which cited archived versions of Tesla's website, said the company lowered the driving range estimates for its X, S, Y, and 3 models. It said the Model Y's range estimate was lowered from 303 miles to 285 miles.

2024 electric Dodge Charger to be first passenger EV made in Canada (Windsor)
Ford to start too, where they now build the Edge:
Ford plans to begin overhauling the Oakville complex in the second quarter of 2024, idling most of the factory’s production workers until the new EV assembly system starts up in late 2024, company officials said Tuesday during a conference call.

The Ford Edge midsize crossover SUV will be discontinued in the second quarter of 2024, and won’t return for a 2025 model year, Ford confirmed on Tuesday.
“Production of Ford Edge continues into the second quarter and we will continue selling it through the year,” Ford spokesperson Jenn Banovetz confirmed via email. “There will not be a 2025 Edge.”

According to the clause, if someone did try this without first getting written permission from Tesla to do so, the company would take action against you, going so far as to seek damages of $50,000 or the profit made from the sale, whichever is greater, and even ban you from purchasing other Tesla vehicles in the future.
This clause hasn’t stopped numerous people from trying, with one Cybertruck AWD recently selling for $244,000 at auction. While we haven’t heard yet if that original owner is facing any legal action from Tesla, another early Cybertruck owner who simply listed their Cybertruck for sale has been blacklisted by the company.
According to Cybertruck Owners Club forum member Dennis (malinecentral), they haven’t sold their Cybertruck, but simply listed it for sale “literally everywhere,” hoping for a big payout. Tesla apparently got wind of the listing, and the company’s Loss and Prevention team reached out to let them know their two other Cybertruck reservations had been cancelled and order fees refunded.

Taycan re-sale value is tanking incredible bad, I've never seen anything like it. 65 listed in bc on autotrader.ca and not seeing anything selling just price reductions. That $232,000 Turbo GT will be worth $100k in three years, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pool.
Still slower than a less than half the cost Model S Plaid 0-60.
