I walked by and noticed that, even while Vivid construction is still on-going, the scaffolding has been arranged around the parking entrance such that vehicles DO have access to both the entrance and exit. Entrance/exit look completed as well.

It’s not selling yet. We'll have plenty of time for discussions later this winter, though.
Thanks. We’ll be keeping our eyes open for presales again this spring and summer.

John Scheeren, a superintendent for Campbell Construction, was struck on Nov. 30 by debris that fell several storeys from a 20-storey condominium under construction, the Yates on Yates. The unsecured material was blown from the building at 848 Yates St. during a major windstorm, said Scheeren’s youngest son, Robbie Scheeren.

This could be the final straw that ends Chard Developments.

Very sad story. John sounded like a terrific and well accomplished man that made a significant contribution towards the construction of many of the buildings that we have come to know and love.

chard is not in control of the jobsite. campbell is. somebody there likely failed.

I guess that possibly explains why the crane is still up on the Vivid side? It was estimated to be taken down in November.
How long does work get stopped after something like this happens?

The final straw? Now you have me curious what other stuff Chard has done to bring about their own downfall. Elaborate please.Very sad story. Very sad to hear about John Scheeren, RIP. Terrible that this building's construction lead to someone's death.

1 out of the 2 units at Vivid have been leased and as I mentioned before, the larger of the two units at Yates on Yates has also been leased. Vic Map displays permits for both buildings together, with only a business permit for a presentation centre underway. I'm not sure which of the two buildings this is going to be in. Considering this is a Chard building, I'm guessing the presentation centre is for the upcoming Nest and Haven buildings planned for Cook Street Plaza.

Anyone here currently live in the Yates building and want to share how it's going so far? Any issues in the building?

Those are actual photos of my unit with a bunch of my furniture moved in. Regrettably, changing personal circumstances mean that I will need to sell it.

Will you take $40 for the orange glass vase on the dining table?
I thought 17 floors up would provide a clear view of the inner harbour and the Salish Sea. I guess you have to be on the 34th floor for those views.

Yikes, your asking price appears to be more attractive than the pre-sale price as far as I recall.
