This awful planter needs to be removed as part of the Yates/Vivid development. It has never served much of a purpose and now it's just nasty.

19th floor listing.

Now under construction, this 1,385 sf sub-penthouse boasts spectacular views and 200 sf of outdoor space. With 2 bed, 2.5 baths and a large den, this is luxury living at its best.

Anyone know if the commercial parking spots (both monthly/hourly) that were in the original proposal as part of the underground parking of this and Vivid is still part of the project? Mostly wondering if residents of either building that aren't able to buy a parking spot will get a crack at the monthly rentals if they're there.

There’s still a commercial component as part of this project.

Looks like their tests indicated a lot of clay based on a large shipment of crushed rocks they’ll be using for their equipment to maneuver on. Not to mention the pile drivers and the hollow steel piles on site. With the fall/winter rains will be a mucky pit.

There was mostly clay at the St. Andrew's school site and the excavation there took forever.

I went piledriving
I went rocky mountain climbing
I went two point seven seconds on a bull named Fu Man Chu
And I loved deeper
And I spoke sweeter
And I gave forgiveness I'd been denyin'
And he said some day I hope you get the chance
To live like you were dyin'

Well the drill rig doesn't drill into the rock.  The only way you can tell is to get ahold of the borehole results

The other problem with rock is you might know one elevation in one spot, but you have no idea where it could be 1 ft over as there could be a valley or a mountain.

as for excavation speed that depends on the shoring contractor, excavators and more importantly the availability of labour.  also what color was the clay, if its blue look for a slow slow excavation (although on the plus side stop by for lots of good pottery clay!)

They are wasting no time at all on this project. They have been driving piles seemingly constantly and it looked like the trees might be coming down today as Davey is on site.
