Lilgert testified that they were not having sex on the night of the sinking. But he also admitted that he had sex on the ferry on another occasion!

Isn't this what people do when they are trying to guess what's in the seafood chowder?

Who hasn’t had sex on the ferry? Isn’t that what the stateroom rentals were for?
Ship bridges usually don’t have carpet underlayment, all the tables are full of buttons and sticks, windows everywhere, people popping through without notice to sign some papers or whatnot. I will give you that they do usually have a closet at the back

As B.C. Ferries held its annual general meeting on Thursday, it released its first-quarter financial results showing the service earned a profit of $7.9 million in the first three months of the 2023 fiscal year, ended June 30, thanks in part to its highest vehicle count in the first quarter. At the same time last year, B.C. Ferries posted a $4.7 million profit. That profit was earned under Collins’ watch. The CEO was fired last month.

The morning cancellations included four sailings between Tsawwassen on the mainland and Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island.
"We require a specific number of crew members on board the vessel to ensure the safety of our passengers," B.C. Ferries said in a statement. "The decision to cancel a sailing in these circumstances is made when we have exhausted all options to find replacement crew."
_________
The ferry corporation told foot passengers at the Swartz Bay terminal that pay parking facilities were full up on Saturday afternoon. They were advised to arrive by public transit or by taxi.
