If he’s not complaining about there being no development in Victoria to his liking, he’s complaining he’s not seeing enough photos of development he doesn’t like.

Yeah, thats not the front page. That's just your specific sub forum of choice, ranked by popularity (I guess).

This is some beautiful drone footage. I have a drone and this is motivating me to try harder.

Ok I see you answered this elsewhere and you bought a drone for Christmas.
You are a natural.
Thank you. I did build an FPV drone back in 2013. Soldiered it together and programmed the flight control board and everything. It was much harder to fly and I never kept footage from it (it was all analog except for an external action cam that added to the weight). So I do have a fair amount of experience with flying them. FPV drones are very different though.

Is it legal to fly a drone in downtown Victoria?

^ Barrister these drones use satellite communications to fly. The technology between your controller and the drone is tethered through the satellite that basically won’t let you fly where you are not allowed to.

I know nothing about drones so it is interesting to hear that their flight areas are controlled remotely. I am afraid my experience with balsawood frame aircraft power by rubber bands
My Uncle through apparently had great fun flying at night over Frankfurt in a Lancaster apparently never stopping to land.

Yes, we used to buy these (and they were pretty cheap) but the thing would invariably hit a tree on the third or fourth flight and was nearly impossible to repair successfully. Balsa wood or sometimes a Styrofoam make-up.

That's what I remember, I was before Styrofoam though I remember the excitement of flying them. I also remember my first 22 and canoeing through Algonquin with my dad All of this was before computers and seat belts.
