Apple Vision Pro review: magic, until it’s not

This is a good YouTube review, I like how this guy calmy explains it.

I've always said these will never be wildly popular until you do not look like an idiot wearing it, at least in public.

Photoshop now has some type of added AI feature.

I use the program for fairly simple work processes most days.  To me it's been worth the $35 or so I pay for it each month.

We will see if the new feature is cool.      :construction:

Qwustenuxun makes a very interesting point about AI and it's ability to use indigenous content.

"Then the realization hit me. Information about Indigenous cultures, especially Salish culture, isn't available on the internet. Most of our culture is secret, intentionally or forcibly, we haven't shared our teachings, our images, our regalia, in any real way on the Internet. And the internet is the source material that this software utilizes to create. So in a very powerful way our way of living exists in an AI blindspot." Discussion follows on his FB page. https://www.facebook...ared.q.williams

I don't know why this never occurred to me, but it checks out. We are in the midst of a development permit application and even the province gatekeeps this information from applicants to the archaeology branch.

"Archaeological information is restricted given the sensitive nature of archaeological sites and the cultural privacy associated with Indigenous heritage of the province. Archaeological sites are very delicate areas which can be easily damaged or destroyed through human activity. The Archaeology Branch is mandated to protect these sites within the parameters of the Heritage Conservation Act and restricting knowledge of their location (and consequently access) is one way of doing that."

Unveiling a Versatile Downtown Gem. Nestled between Vancouver and Cook St. in downtown Victoria, a two-storey building constructed in 1950 awaits its next chapter. With over 6,000 sq. ft. across two levels, this property boasts a seismic upgrade permit from 2008, signifying structural resilience. Presently a thriving restaurant and banquet hall, the property's allure deepens with a 1-bedroom suite at the bottom level's rear. What sets this offering apart is the comprehensive inclusion of all restaurant equipment, ensuring a seamless transition for aspiring restaurateurs. The kitchen, operating on natural gas, coupled with a recent heating/cooling system installation, enhances operational efficiency. However, the real estate allure extends beyond its current use. The adjacent building, featuring approximately 30 micro units, sets the stage for a mixed-use masterpiece. Zoning regulations permitting, envision a harmonious blend of commercial and residential spaces, tapping into the burgeoning demand for versatile urban living. Adaptive reuse is a viable option, transforming the existing structure into boutique offices, creative workspaces, or a fusion of retail and residential units. The symbiosis of historical charm and modern functionality creates a canvas for innovative redevelopment. This downtown gem is not merely a property; it's an investment canvas waiting for the strokes of creativity and foresight. As Victoria's landscape evolves, this property stands as a testament to the potential of adaptive urban redevelopment, offering an exciting venture for those with the vision to unlock its true value.

We might have run out of adjectives with this listing:

Versatile
Nestled
Boasts
Signifying structural resilience
Thriving
Allure deepens
Seamless transition for aspiring restaurateurs
Enhances operational efficiency
Harmonious blend…

And that’s just halfway through.

$33,000 in annual property taxes, assessed at exactly $2 million, but they’re asking $3.3 million. Does that mean B.C. Assessment will raise the assessed value significantly higher if it sells for anywhere near the asking price?

Know it all.

What I'm saying is that he plugged his plain script into ChatGPT for a few more superlatives.

Sometimes Chats bots like copilot get in my way. Always a positive conclusion to the question or search at the end.
