Tell that to Jessie Spano and her out of control caffeine pill addiction!

Who else remembers when Jessie Spano's caffeine pill addiction had her singing "I'm so excited" in front of Zach Morris on #SavedByTheBell? This moment never fails to remind us of the dangers of addiction.

Greater Victoria Green Party MLA Adam Olsen will not seek re-election

Olsen has represented Saanich North and the Islands since 2017

Adam Olsen just announced that he won’t be running in the October election.  Since Furstenau will probably lose to The Amazing Invisible Woman that may be the end of the Greens as parliamentary party.  Try to restrain your grief.

Yes, it is likely the party will evaporate.

I will never forgive the Green Party for aligning with the NDP to form the government after the 2017 BC election.

Andrew Weaver says Greens are cooked and Conservatives will win the provincial election.

Via X:

“Looks like [BC Conservatives] will win next BC election. IMHO only hope for @voteBCUnited is an immediate leader change or zero seats; @BCGreens are finished thanks to "last one turn out the lights" leadership (I suspect @AdamPOlsen found out he was polling 3rd in SGI).

“The @bcndp are bleeding support left, right and centre to the [BC Conservatives] as they have lost touch with the average person. @Dave_Eby is coming across as an ideological "know it all" elitist who surrounds himself with sycophants.

“I recognize that some may not like the message, but it’s what I am seeing and hearing happening all around me. And this with people who have been long time NDP supporters. Rather than attack the messenger, act on the message and change. The middle is the biggest voting block.”

I doubt he's right, but I am willing to be pleasantly surprised.

He's only 52, must have something lined up. He can't access any of his MLA pension until 60.
