Sarah McLachlan, one of the first performers to play the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre, will return to the arena in November as part of her Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th anniversary tour.

The Vancouver legend winds down the 12-date Canadian leg of the tour at the Blanshard Street building on Nov. 20. Though she has performed at the arena several times over the years, her performances there on June 7-8, 2005 were among the first concerts inside the newly-constructed building.

Tay-Tay has six shows planned for the Rogers Centre (November 4, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23). Not only is traffic going to be an extra-special nightmare (it’s already intolerable) but anyone else hoping to stay in a downtown hotel better have room on the credit card.

BlogTO did a little spelunking on availability and found that many rooms were booked a year in advance. Any remaining rooms–and there ain’t a lot–are very, very expensive.

Rooms that normally go for around $500/night are now on offer for $2000/night. The nearby Ritz-Carlton will give you place to lay your head for just $2500.

‘A lot’ is where our Prime Minister stays on the taxpayer dime when he travels. $2,500 is nothing.

That post malone is pretty talented. Awful tattoos and some questionable style choices, but undoubtedly an original.

Just to show some of Post Malone's range... I'm convinced he was meant to be a rock or folk star, but was unfortunately born in the mumble-rap era. The kid has chops... any genre.

Covering Bob Dylan at age 17 https://www.youtube....h?v=d_NS9Vd1sMA

Covering Alice in Chains better than the original song imo https://www.youtube....h?v=C9M4O2ZXFb8

Covering Nirvana - sounds about 99% as good as Kurt Cobain https://www.youtube....h?v=-cGxzWYWLyQ

Insanely talented guy.

There are going to be an awful lot of really terrible looking seniors in 2050.

Based on his face tats, I'd say he feels "always tired" Dude seriously has those words tattooed under each eye.

He's such a paradox it makes him very entertaining to watch. In interviews he comes across as the most humble, genuine kind hearted guy. Then you see him on the street meeting fans and he's still  super nice, but stoned out of his mind and clearly battling serious demons.

He's a once in a generation musical talent, but in his own songs he writes lyrics like "versace boxers on my d**k, bud light running thru my p**s." Just a total weirdo. I really enjoy him though. Hope he conquers his issues and makes a good life.
