I went 39 years - until today - not knowing Sting sang on Money For Nothing.
Then I'm listening to it today, and I'm thinking, "that really sounds like Sting". I looked it up, yup.

Bruh.
The good news is, nothing gets past you these days, aside from bottles of wine.

Time marches on and all good things must come to an end. But don’t tell that to The Rolling Stones.
What many believe to be the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon as they kicked off their latest tour Sunday night at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
The Stones have been touring for more than 60 years. Frontman Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Keith Richards are both 80, with guitarist Ronnie Wood not far behind at 76. Their tour is being sponsored in part by AARP.
But during a vibrant two-hour show, the Stones played with the energy of band that was on tour for the first time.

Not the biggest Stones' fan ever but good for them, clearly they have the energy of men half their age and love what they're doing. Can you really imagine Keef retired and chasing a little white ball around a glorified field? Nah! Must admit too Hackney Diamonds was a damn good release, well worth the listen!
Trivia question from the vault of totally useless information: which original band was/is the oldest running act until only very recently?
Its not the Stones (1962) and its technically not the Beach Boys, since they splt into two touring factions years ago after Brian Wilson and Mike Love decided they hated each other. Until they finally had to call it quits in 2022 after George Kooymans contracted ALS the correct answer was.....Golden Earring (1961). Who knew? They were huge in the 70's and 80's but I was surprised at the time to learn they held that distinction.

What about the Bee Gees though? 1958. I know two of the three brothers are dead - plus their younger brother - but is the band officially done?
