Quite interesting, lots of stats.

 

It can lift off at 14% angle (grade?), and apparently planes must be able to do at least 6.7% , and the original Beaver can barely make that.

 

Time for take-off has gone from 40 seconds to 27.

Kenmore Air is adding a new service between Victoria and Washington state starting in May.

 

The Seattle-based airline will offer the seasonal service between Tacoma and Victoria’s Inner Harbour beginning May 15 and running until Sept. 15, in collaboration with Puyallup Tribe.

 

The daily flight will leave the Inner Harbour at 10:10 a.m., make a 15-minute stop at Friday Harbor and arrive in Tacoma around 11:45 a.m. It will then leave Tacoma at 2:45 p.m., stop at Friday Harbor for 30 minutes and land in the Inner Harbour around 4:35 p.m.
