Does that even make sense?  Our planes are smaller and faster.

Is smaller more comfortable?

Maybe you missed those decades of complaints about the floatplanes? Too much legroom and too much separation between other passengers makes you feel really uncomfortable. Lonely, isolated, etc.

Maybe smaller means you can get in and out faster. And faster means you suffer in that small space for 4 less minutes.

I don’t know. I’ve flown many times. Ya the seating is small and uncomfortable, but hardly a worry when it’s only a 35 minute trip. And only 20 or so of that is in the air. I know you are not supposed to, but as soon as we land, and start to taxi in, I usually get up and stretch my legs a bit with a walk up and down the aisle. I’ll sometimes use the bathroom at that time too.

You don’t ask to touch the buttons in the cockpit?

I like how they are different shapes, I assume that is so the pilot can tell them apart in pitch black or heavy smoke. :)
